Enjoy an elementary class to experience Japanese Tea Ceremony in a Tea House.

【HOW IT HAPPENS 】

Meet up with a Guide, at Meeting point, JINQ and go to Tea House near by. You’ll enter in the Tea House, get off your shoes and learn little bit how to bow in Japanese manner, and enter to the tea house. Greet to a Tea master, and the warm supportive tea master in Kimono, will introduce the basic skill of Tea ceremony. You’ll be guided and explain in English which Tea master is trying to tell.From the decoration of the day: ” Kakejiku” ” Vase” “Why this flower?” “Incense box” ” Tea bowl”. Free Question & Answer session for helping you understand instantly this culture. Tea master will show how to make the tea, and serve you one with seasonal pastry. You can try to whisk your 2nd tea if you are a good challenger.

＊About tea master: Ms. Souyo Takahashi Born in Fujinomiya city, became tea master since 2018 and decided open up her own tea house at her house near from GOTEN Tomoe residence.

＊Please gather at the GOTEN Front desk if you are coming from JR Station. If you're staying at the center of Fujinomiya city, our meeting point could be at Model Coffee which is a Meeting point for Discover mt fuji tours.
